HOKA: What is the inspiration behind each of the looks you styled?
Molly: I really wanted these looks to reflect my personal style, which is a representation of athleisure meets high fashion meets street wear. I wanted these looks to show how these sneakers not only can be functional for running or cross training but can be implemented into a fashionable girls wardrobe.
HOKA: What about the HOKA shoes in particular inspired these looks?
Molly: I really was inspired by the Clifton Edge sneakers in Citrus. I generally am a classic New Yorker who wears all black but the bright hue of these sneakers caught my eye. And I had this vision of doing an entire monochromatic look with it. The silky backless slip dress from The Bar matched perfectly the sneakers and was a great juxtaposition of sexy and effortless cool.
HOKA: Any go-to tips when styling sneakers?
Molly: Add a great sock. I am really into wearing higher socks with sneakers currently.
HOKA: What is your personal favorite look of the ones you styled and why?
Molly: The Clifton L with the white tennis skirt and sweater. Mainly because it feels like fall and there is nothing I love more than autumn in New York.
HOKA: What is your favorite of the HOKA shoes you styled and why?
Molly: The Clifton L. There was something very cool and street style about this pair. The mismatched laces and colors really added a sense of character that is rare to find in sneakers currently.
